Your Calculator Inputs Never Leave Your Browser

The original value and new value you type into the calculator on this site are processed entirely by JavaScript running in your own browser. They are never sent to this site's server, never logged, and never stored anywhere, not in a database, not in an analytics event, not in a file. Refreshing the page clears them completely. If you disable JavaScript, the calculator still displays a result (computed at build time for a sample pair of numbers), and no calculation of your own is transmitted anywhere either way.

Information Collected Automatically

Like virtually every website, the infrastructure that serves these pages generates standard web server logs, the kind of data any static-hosting provider records for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. That typically includes your IP address, browser and operating system information (user agent), the page you requested, the time of the request, and the referring page. This site does not separately collect, store, or analyze that data beyond what the hosting provider retains as part of normal operation, and it is not used to build a profile of you or linked to any calculator input.

Cookies and Tracking

This site uses Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) in your browser to tell whether a visit is new or returning and which pages were viewed. Beyond those analytics cookies, this site sets no cookies of its own, and does not use browser local storage or session storage to remember you between visits. There is no login, so there is nothing to remember you for.

Your calculator inputs are never sent to Google Analytics or anywhere else. They are computed in your browser and are not included in any analytics event. You can block these cookies with any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics, and every calculator on this site keeps working normally if you do.

Third-Party Services

This site loads one third-party script: Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js), served from googletagmanager.com. It records which pages are visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, and general device and browser information, and it is used only to understand which calculators people actually need. Google's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.

There are no advertising scripts, no embedded trackers, and no other third-party requests. Every stylesheet and every other script on this page is written for this site and served from this site's own domain. If that changes in a future update, this section will name the service, what it collects, and why it was added.

Children's Privacy

This site is a general-audience reference tool and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, because the calculator itself collects no personal information at all, see the section above on how your inputs are handled.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change with it, and any change that affects what data is collected or how it's used will be described in the relevant section above rather than only noted in the date.
